ONE-YEAR COURSES
Overview

The One-Year Course is designed for international students seeking to build a solid professional foundation in a major related to arts, crafts, or design. Set in the heart of Florence, the program combines hands-on technical training with the cultural immersion that only a year abroad in Italy can offer.
Students develop their skills progressively over the course of the year, supported by experienced instructors and a learning environment that reflects Florence’s centuries-old artisan tradition. The program is structured to balance technical mastery with genuine cultural exchange, ensuring students leave with both a practical skill set and a deeper understanding of Italian art and life.

The program includes

• Italian Arts & Culture Classes, offering insight into the country’s artistic heritage and everyday life

• Weekly Guided Art Visits, bringing students directly into contact with Florence’s museums, galleries, and historic sites

• Monthly Cultural Activities, designed to broaden the experience beyond the classroom

This course is ideal for beginners as well as those with basic training in their chosen subject, offering a supportive environment to grow at any starting point.

These activities are designed to deepen students’ connection to Florence’s artistic heritage while building a foundation in their chosen craft.

MASTER COURSES
Master Course – Overview

The Master Course is addressed to students who have already acquired a basic and professional foundation in their field, equivalent to the level of graduates of Accademia Riaci’s academic programs as well as college graduates. The course is also open to professionals with proven experience in a field concerning the subjects of the Master Course, who wish to further their expertise.
The goal of our master programs is to offer students the opportunity to bring their specialized study to the highest level and apply it in the actual professional environment. Students perform advanced research according to the themes chosen by their own initiative, under the close guidance of the professors. During the second half of the program, students carry out a project research, a joint project in collaboration with Italian companies/studios and/or professionals, to apply their study to practice. Upon successful completion of the graduation project and final examination, a Diploma certificate is awarded.
