Interpretation is the fastest growing profession. It is attributable to the rapid multilingualization of the society and the prevailing use of electronic devices. The fact that one can speak two languages both in a fluent manner may show that he or she has good potential for becoming an interpreter, but that is not enough to qualify him or her for the job.
Our interpreter training course will help students acquire linguistic, cultural and technical proficiency to gain competitive advantages in the rapidly expanding interpretation market. The generally definition of interpreter’s job is to translate the mastered second language into one’s native language. Therefore, to be an interpreter, first and foremost, one needs to be highly competent in handling one’s own mother tongue.
Academia Riaci has the interpreter training program developed in accordance with the best college programs in Italy. The program offers training sessions for interpretation to acclimate students to translating across languages and help them learn from their continuous practices how to deal with difficult problems in interpreting. This program prepares students to thrive as a professional linguist versed in linguistic methodology and skillful in using linguistic technics and tools in a wide range of international careers. Students will be well prepared for such professions as interpreters working from home or on freelance basis, translators of technical or software terms and those involved in global project management.
In the certain cases, the school reserves the right to prescribe additional courses.
Students who do not have sufficient English skills can choose English as an optional language and learn how to interpret between English and Italian in addition to the standard interpretation between Italian and their native languages.
