先週に引き続き、１９世紀のフランス市場の作品の作業を続けていきます。今週から樹脂絵具での補彩に入りますが、まずは空の部分から始めます。作品は１．５m近くあり、直径１mm程の筆で無数の欠落箇所を埋めていく作業は大変なものですが、残された色の断片を丹念に追っていくことで、想像で描くことなく画家の意図した元の姿を取り戻すようにします。欠落部分が大きく色・形が分かりに… [Read more]

先週に引き続き、補彩を施していきます。範囲が広く苦労した空の部分ですが、ようやく終了しました。次に建物・人物の部分を見直していきます。色が暗めのため一見分かりにくいですが、近付いて見てみると変色した過去の加筆や、絵の具がかすれて消えてしまっている箇所が多くあります。残された部分をよく観察し、違和感の無いよう色を丁寧に繋げていきます。 歴史… [read more]
