To add more practical experience in my career, I decided to study in Florence, the home of restoration work. I wish to improve my painting restoration techniques by experiencing various types of restoration works as well as learning the latest restoration techniques. I am looking forward to letting you know about my daily life in Florence and my weekend visits to churches, museums, and so on.

After filling in all the defects with gouache used as base color, I varnished over it. I then let the varnish completely dry before adding colors with resin paints using hatching technique as usual. I carefully made it so the fixed parts have a natural flow to the original drawing when viewed from the appropriate appreciation distance. I patiently kept adding colors to the bigger defects where original paints are peeled off.
