After over 40 years as a company employee, I came to Italy. I love traveling and delicious food. I'm exploring the history of central Italy and studying traditional home cooking. I'm also looking forward to connecting with many people.

40年余の会社員生活を終えて、イタリアにやって来ました。旅と美味しいものが大好き。中部イタリアの歴史に触れ、伝統的な家庭料理を勉強。たくさんの人たちとの繋がりも楽しみにしています。

Home Cooking Summer Cours (#1) – S.I.

August 25 (Mon)

Buongiorno Firenze!

Today marks the start of the Italian Home Cooking Course.
After orientation, we moved on to the Italian home cooking lesson.
Having an interpreter to support us is a relief (phew).

Today’s dishes:
・Panna cotta
・Spaghetti with Genovese sauce
・Roasted potatoes
・Lemon-flavored chicken

Buongiorno Firenze!

今日からイタリア家庭料理コースが始まりました。
オリエンテーションの後、移動して、イタリア家庭料理のレッスンへ。
通訳さんがサポートしてくれるので安心(ほっ)。

今日の料理は

The first day’s class was a bit nerve-wracking, but the tasting session afterward was a fun meal chatting with everyone, fully enjoying the Italian vibe! The teacher is kind and handsome too. (lol)

初日の授業は、ちょっと緊張したけど、終わった後の試食会がみんなと楽しく話しながらの食事で、イタリア気分を満喫!先生も優しくイケメンです。(笑)

August 27 (Wed)

We learn 4 dishes every day.
And if there are leftovers, we take them home!
Every session is super filling.
Coming to Italy means you’re bound to gain weight before heading home (lol)

そして、残ったらテイクアウト!
毎回ボリュームタップリでお腹いっぱい。
イタリアに来たら太って帰るのがお決まりですね(笑)

Especially this bruschetta – it was amazing!
完成。パンツァネッラも添えて。
今日の4品もいずれも美味しくいただきました。
特にこのブルスケッタ、最高でした!
