Based on my journey experiences, bag is like mobile home for me. It always represents people choices and selections which are necessary things in their everyday life. Since I have been worked as designer for many years, this is the perfect time to improve my two-dimensional works to be something practical in concrete ways. Hereby, I choose bag to be as my product which I hope it could be something extraordinary for people everyday life.

Bag Design One-Year Course (n.9)

Bag Design blog
It is quite a celebration week. There were many sport competitions. And yes, the famous one is UEFA EURO 2020. Finally, Italy is the champion, also Eurovision and Wimbledon (though the last one is 2nd place). This is like good news for good starting of the week.
Bag Design blogPicture 1: This is the moment of celebration. There were many crowd acclaims and fireworks from my neighborhood after they made a final penalty.
Bag Design blogPicture 2-3: Before the big match begin, I went to Pisa. The weather is good enough for relaxing at the yard around Piazza.

Bag Design blogPicture 4 : The main reason I went there because currently it has a temporary exhibition “ORAZIO RIMINALDI” – A Master from Pisa between Caravaggio and Gentileschi. It is a good exhibition to check out the influential Caravaggio’s style, especially in naturalism in his paintings.
Bag Design blogPicture 5-6 : This is an example of Riminaldi’s painting shown how Caravaggio’s style influences to his training and works. There are many evident of this idea shown in this painting such as, the use of light which emphasizes either the slight plumpness, the graying hair, also the hairline or the lines around the eyes with swollen eyelids.

Bag Design blogPicture 7-8 : This is another important painting in the exhibition at Opera del Duomo Palace. It’s called “The assumption of the Virgin” which is also the fresco in Pisa Cathedral by Riminaldi.

Bag Design blogPicture 9 : For my bag design lesson of this week, I had tried to make many solutions of the textile designs for my bag. I made them to be varied scales and print them out to see real life sizes.
Bag Design blogPicture 10 : Then, my professor and I discussed and selected the designs which are matched for my bag prototype.
Bag Design blogPicture 11-12 : And we wrapped them on my prototype to see how they work together.
