After a BA degree in Industrial Design at ISIA in Rome, she decided to move to Florence to learn the ancient and valuable art of shoe making. She always has been interested in design and making shoes . So she found out that Florence and Accademia Riaci would have been the perfect place for learning about.
She wants to gain knowledge about one of the most Italian famous and worldwide appreciated handcraft art. The craft of shoe making deserves to be handed down from one generation to another, to survive as a prestigious art.

Shoe Making 17-One Year Course 2017 (Student1)

Since I started to make this reports I highlighted the fact that this experience for me has been not just about learning the shoe making art, but there is more. I met so great, full of joy, full experienced and eventually positively different people (friends) that I just can feel grateful for it. Not just my hands have learnt something, but for sure my heart as well.
This weekend Kamla left and came back to Amsterdam. And so, I will finish this last month without my special friend. Because Kamla for me has been this.
Ok, now I can also say something about my shoes. I finished mocassino model. Typical of me, I was hesitant about the style, so I made two different tests and in the end I chose the more simple one. I made this pair for my older brother, hoping he can appreciate it.
