Here you can see the boot has been mounted onto the last and the heel counter is firmly in place. The toe area has been left open in order to continue with process of adding the toe puff.
The lining in the toe has been lasted.
The toe puffs have been thinned out and are ready to go.
Measurements are taken on the toe to make sure the toe puff is the correct size.
The toe puffs are in place and firmly mounted.
Nails were also used to help keep the toe puffs in place. Later the toe puffs need to be trimmed, hammered, and shaped to the form.

At Accademia Riaci, we are recruiting Course Reporters from our students. The students who are chosen to become Course Reporters are given 10 % of the tuition as their scholarship fee.
