Painting and Drawing vol.8 (One-Year Course – Holly)
For this week my friend Nicolous came to visit from Germany.
I started a new workpiece using ink with the focus still being on portraiture as a focus point trying to get proportion’s. (1)
Afterwards I continued watching videos and reading books on anatomy for helping me with the correct facial proportions.
Wednesday drawing session: I decided to continue working on my piece from Monday’s lesson and exploring pen drawing then enjoyed a sandwich for lunch. (5,6)
Continued painting a box from last Thursday’s lesson then got to start a new picture of the box from a different angle. (7,8)
Then took my friend vintage clothes shopping followed by a walk up to the top of the Michelangelo for an evening view then a lovely walk along the riverfront followed by ice cream. (9)
After the art visit in the morning my friend and I went to Siena to explore the little streets and architecture and explore the hidden artistic gems around the city. (10,11,12,13)
