Interior Design Short Course (#2) – Miu T
On a day off from school, we went to Piazzale Michelangelo. We were able to view the entire city of Florence. It was crowded because we went there at sunset time, but we were very happy to see the beautiful scenery of Florence.学校がお休みの日はミケランジェロ広場に行きました。フィレンツェの街全体の風景を眺めることができました。夕焼けの時間に行ったので混雑していたのですが、きれいなフィレンツェの風景が見れたので大満足です。
学校が少し早く終わった日に、サンタ・マリア・ノヴェッラ教会に行きました。ステンドグラスが大迫力でした。天気が良かったので、教会の前には多くの人が談笑をしたりしていました。
Near Santa Maria Novella Church, we went to Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy, the oldest pharmacy in the world. I was amazed at the museum-like atmosphere of the pharmacy, which was hard to believe that it was a pharmacy.サンタ・マリア・ノヴェッラ教会の近くにある、世界最古の薬局であるサンタ・マリア・ノヴェッラ薬局に行きました。薬局とは思えない美術館のような雰囲気に驚きました。
I finished drawing the floor plan of Salvatore Ferragamo’s store design. Our teacher gave us advice on where to place the items to be sold, and we drew the store as we imagined the actual store.サルバトーレ・フェラガモの店舗デザインの平面図を描き終えました。販売するアイテムをどこに配置するかを先生にアドバイスしてもらい、実際の店舗を想像しながら描きました。
We went to the Uffizi Gallery, famous for the Birth of Venus. I was glad that I went on a weekday, so there were relatively few people and I was able to appreciate the museum at leisure. I recommend a sunny day as the building is illuminated by beautiful natural light.ヴィーナスの誕生があることで有名なウフィツィ美術館に行きました。平日に行ったので人が比較的少なく、ゆっくり鑑賞することができたので良かったです。晴れの日だと建物にきれいな自然光が差し込むのでオススメです。
We learned that we should not be satisfied with a single design, but that we should change the design little by little and compare them to see which one is better, so that the design will become better and better.店舗に設置する棚のデザインを考えました。1つの案で満足するのではなく、デザインを少しずつ変えていきながらどの案が良いか見比べると、どんどん良いデザインになっていくということを学びました。
We went to Venice during the Carnival period. There was a costume contest going on in St. Mark’s Square, and it was very exciting. I think it was a good experience for me to participate in a festival in a foreign country because I could learn about the local culture.カーニバル期間中のヴェネツィアに行きました。サン・マルコ広場では仮装のコンテストが行われていて、とても盛り上がっていました。異国のお祭りに参加すると、その土地の文化を学ぶことができるので良い経験になったと思います。
This is the view from Rialto Bridge in Venice. It was different from the view of Florence, and I was able to enjoy the beauty of the water city. It was also a good experience for me to ride on a water bus.ヴェネツィアのリアルト橋からの眺めです。フィレンツェの景色とはまた違った、水の都の美しさを堪能することができました。水上バスに乗れたことも良い経験になりました。
