My name is Nabila Karimah. I’m from Indonesia. I graduated from École supérieure des arts et techniques de la mode (ESMOD) in Jakarta, major in Fashion Design & Creation. I decide to join Accademia Riaci to improve my skills and to deepen my knowledge in Fashion, especially in Fashion Design. For me to study in Italy is feels like one of my dreams comes true.

9th week lessons

Inside the class.

This week’s lessons, I finished all of my patterns and the inspiration direction for my collection. The lectures ask me to make a mini collection with 10 looks of fashion sketch. So, I starting to break down what products that I want to draw, how to mix and match the style to make it connecting between one pair of clothes to the others. Hopefully, I can finish this project before our winter break.

Life in Florence

Indonesian student association in Florence.

For me, this week is a very meaningful week. I have a lot of meeting. First, I finally going to meet the Indonesian student association in Florence. On November 1st, we have a plan to meet at dinner time, during dinner we have a conversation about our life here. It’s fun and meaningful meeting.

On the next day, my friend from Indonesia has a business trip to Florence. He texts me to meet up and join his schedule to explore Florence like a tourist. We went to MAGRITTE exhibition and painting museum near Salvatore Ferragamo store (but I forget about the name). I always love and enjoying visit museum in Florence.
