Black Snake
1. Measurements are made and the pieces needed are cut from a sheet of leather. Snake skin is thin therefore it is first stitched onto a piece of leather before being used. Salpa, a material recycled from leather, and another piece of leather is sewn onto the base to give the bag some strength and structure. Studs are also fitted onto the base of the bag.
2. The zip is fitted and sewn on by machine, followed by the snake skin sides.
3. Front view of the bag in progress.
4. These handles are handsewn for strength and aesthetic reasons.
