I have two years of experience working at a wood shop. My motivation to join Accademia was to expand my knowledge of craftsmanship and to accomplish the master's course. I see the incredible value of furniture design because there are no longer as many carpenters as we've had in the past. Due to the advancement of factories and machinery, there is no longer the beauty of fitted furniture which made me start to question.

Furniture Making & Restoration vol.6 (One-Year Course – Jioh)

Once the animal glue on inlay plates has been complete dried off, you will witness the gaps in between the positive and negative space. To mend the gaps in between, mix gesso powder with color powder to resemble the color of wood. Mix the powder together with drops of animal glue. Once the mix is in the right consistency, apply the mix on flower plates.
For the vase inlay, we used the stucco to mend the gap.
Let it dry over the night and once all the stuccos are dried, use sandpaper to clean the surface. Always pay attention not to scratch the plate with the sandpaper.
Due to my mistake of applying too much stucco on the vase inlay plates, I needed to use the sandpaper machine to clean the surface.
