Painting & Drawing Summer Course (#7) – J.K.
Strolling along the path. A little away from the center of the city, there was a quiet residential area, perfect for a walk.
小道を散歩。中心部から少し離れると、閑静な住宅街が広がっていて、散歩にぴったりの場所でした。
Beef tartar we had at a restaurant. I tried it after learning that it is customary to eat raw meat in Italy. It was delicious and easy to eat, with no fishy smell.
レストランで食べた牛肉のタルタル。イタリアにも生肉を食べる習慣があると知り、トライ。生臭さなどなく、食べやすくて美味しかったです。
I went to the library near the school that is open to the public. It was a very nice place with old wooden structure.
一般開放してる学校の近くの図書館へ。古い木の作りがとても素敵な場所でした。
The kitchen of the apartment. It is an environment where you can cook for yourself. My sharemate had a birthday, so I decorated her with flowers on this day.
アパートのキッチン。自炊できる環境が整っています。シェアメイトが誕生日だったので、この日はお花を飾りました。
In the evening, there was a baroque music concert at the church, so I stopped by. It was a beautiful atmosphere with gorgeous decorations and the sound of violins and choral voices echoing through the church.
夜、教会でバロック音楽の音楽会があったので、立ち寄りしました。豪華な装飾にバイオリンの音や合唱の声が響き渡ってとても素敵な雰囲気でした。
Cultural Activity took us to Sangimignano. There are still many high towers built in the past, and the scenery is beautiful.
Cultural ActivityでSangimignanoへ。昔建てられた高い塔が沢山残っていて、景色も綺麗でとても素敵な街でした。
Tasted porchetta, a Tuscan specialty, at a food stall. It was very tasty and lightly seasoned.
屋台でトスカーナ名物のポルケッタを試食。あっさりとした味付けでとても美味しかったです。
Florence and Kyoto are sister cities, so there was a Kyoto fair near the school.
フィレンツェと京都は姉妹都市という事で、学校の近くで京都フェアが開催されていました。
We watched the opera, Aida. The world-famous conductor was the center of attention in the hall. It was a very wonderful stage.
オペラ、アイーダを鑑賞。この日は世界的に有名な方が指揮者で、会場で注目の的となっていました。とても素晴らしいステージでした。

At Accademia Riaci, we are recruiting Course Reporters from our students. The students who are chosen to become Course Reporters are given 10 % of the tuition as their scholarship fee.
