Painting & Drawing Summer Course (#12) – J.K.
Florence’s famous bistecca. No matter how many times I eat it, it’s delicious. The meat is tender, and the flavor makes me want to eat it again.
フィレンツェ名物ビステッカ。何度食べても美味しく、お肉も柔らかくてまた食べたくなる味です。
The Arno River at night. The atmosphere differs between day and night; it was beautifully lit up, and the reflections on the water were truly stunning.
夜のアルノ川。昼と夜で雰囲気が違い、ライトアップされていて水面に映る景色も本当にキレイでした。
The last piece I started on: an olive tree. I drew it in detail using a ballpoint pen.
最後に取り掛かった作品。オリーブの木。ボールペンで細かく描いていきます。
The view from the slightly elevated San Miniato al Monte church. The beautiful cityscape and the Duomo, clearly visible even from afar, had a real presence.
少し高台にあるサンミニアート教会からの景色。美しい街並みと、遠くからでもDuomoがハッキリと見えて、存在感がありました。
Art Visit to Casa di Buonarroti. This was once Michelangelo’s residence, displaying items and works connected to him. The photo shows a sculpture modeled after Michelangelo as a child.
Art VisitはCasa di Buonarottiへ。ミケランジェロが以前住んでいた場所でもあり、ミケランジェロ所縁のものや作品が展示されていました。写真はミケランジェロが小さかった時がモデルの彫刻。
Continuing at Casa di Buonarroti. It was a place where you could truly feel again what a great and respected artist he was.
Casa di Buonarrotiの続き。偉大で尊敬された芸術家であった事が改めて実感できる場所でした。
Dinner with my roommate. These three months were also supported by Florence’s delicious Japanese food.
ルームメイトとディナー。フィレンツェの美味しい日本食にも支えられた3ヶ月でした。
My final piece completed. My heart overflows with gratitude for the teachers who guided me so much and my fellow painting classmates who worked hard alongside me.
最後の作品が完成。沢山の指導をして頂いた先生や一緒に頑張った同じ絵画クラスの仲間達にも感謝の思いが溢れます。
The Duomo I saw almost every day commuting. Located at the heart of the city, it felt like it was always watching over us.
通学でほぼ毎日見ていたDuomo。街の中心にあって、いつも見守ってくれているような、そんな存在でした。

At Accademia Riaci, we are recruiting Course Reporters from our students. The students who are chosen to become Course Reporters are given 10 % of the tuition as their scholarship fee.
The Reporters who have submitted excellent reports will have his or her profile posted on our school website for the next 5 years as an alumnae and will be able to connect with their business chancesafter their graduation.
