Painting & Drawing Summer Course (#1) – J.K.

The cathedral seen on the first day. I felt that I had come to Florence, and I was both excited and nervous.

A view from the courtyard of my apartment.

A street leading to school. Even in such a casual view, I was impressed by the shape of the houses and the use of colors and other design features that are not found in Japan. Everyday there are new discoveries here and there.

Lunch after school. Pizza with anchovies and zucchini flowers. A combination not found in Japan. It was delicious.

A work finished in class. Drawings are drawn out little by little while discussing with the teacher.
I hope I can draw better next time.

Cultural Visit to Bologna. We gathered at the station early in the morning and took the train together.
Cultural Visit

Bologna is a student town, and there are many tourists on weekends. The weather was perfect for a stroll.

A long-established butcher shop in Bologna that was recommended to us. Tell them how much you want and they will cut and wrap it for you. The pasta I bought as a souvenir and ate was also very tasty.
During the Cultural Visit, we had some free time and happened to stop by a church in the middle of mass.
Cultural Visit
