Painting-Drawing 10-Master Course 2017 (Student1)

Monday lesson I start my fourth landscape painting. This time I choose to change my direction which is more familiar for me to inspired with. That was my native place Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is a tropical island found in the deep blue waters of the Indian Ocean our country is endowed with over thousand miles of beautiful golden beaches that are fringed with coconut palms. This time I choose Negambo beach which is near to my home place. My lecture, professor Alessandro also encourages me to do this landscape. So I suppose to do two landscapes at Monday lesson as well as Wednesday lesson.

As usual I start my landscape with a sky which is the best entrance to the painting as well as it always takes major position of the painting. So I placed it at first. It was clean sky with tiny clouds. Next step is sea line and palm area then I start an interesting part of this painting its stones line. Waves and sunlight added attraction on it. So I used plenty of colors to capture it.

After finishing waves and beach area I start to paint fishing boat which is located on the front of my painting. Once I finished that boat, I felt that boat would help to increase depth of this painting too.

On Wednesday lesson I start my fifth landscape which is linked with the previous landscape. My professor wants me to do collection of landscape with natural beauty of Sri Lanka. With my past experience of doing landscape as well as it obeys to the composition rules, this is how I did this painting step by step.
