Jewelry Making 22-One Year Course 2017
I went to the Gucci Garden Musuem at Piazza Signoria and went around looking at the exhibition. It was very interesting despite being a small exhibition and I learnt a lot about the detail put into making a Gucci product.
The Florentine style engraving ring is finally finished,, set with three pink sapphires. I am very happy with the final result and by far the most satisfied jewellery I have made.
I have also started a new ring which I saw on the internet, the top bezel turns around and it movable. This is done by a wire soldered to the outside of the ring. This allows the bezel to move freely.
I also went to buy some gems, this is a Citrine, faceted with a gradient colour. I would love to make a ring for my grandmother with this stone.
Despite the hectic school week, I would cook from time to time and this week I had pesto penne with zucchines.
