Fashion Design Short Course (n.2)

Step by step collection should become clearer and more practically understandable. From one technical drawing to other, doing new notes and explanations, models receive strict points and important shapes. But the work on the form is not done. Good successful result depends on right choice of the material, fastening details and technological process. It’s time for searching useful information. Different innovations of similar brands, new materials, literature about fabrics structure. All is quite necessary. And the circle of work is done. Again you should load facts for new mood board to make a clear system that will help to achieve the aim.

Mood board based on material details helps to visualize the common view and sense of the collection. Three bases of model design are made: aim of shape, function and special features. In my case it was overall unusual form, innovative materials and capsule. Then mix of technical drawings and mood boards is made. Photos make written notes clearer and exacter. In spite of details of misunderstanding is important to return to searching information and reminding the basic points of the ideas of collection inspiration.
