金曜日はアートビジットで学校から徒歩すぐのサンミケーレガエターノ教会へ、土曜日はカルチャービジットでフィレンツェから電車で40分ほど離れたピストイアという街へ小旅行に出かけました。ガイドさんと通訳さんが街の歴史や美術的な知識を説明してくださいます。
特にピストイアは観光客が少なく、中世の雰囲気が残る街並みや地元の方の暮らしぶりを垣間見ることができ、とても良い機会になりました。

授業初日の4日前にフィレンツェに到着しました。市街地はバスの停留所やルートが変更になる事が多いそうですが、授業開始日までに身の回りを整え、学校の場所も確認することが出来ました。
4.5人でシェアしているアパートは市街地から少し離れているので観光シーズンでも穏やかでとても過ごしやすいです。

新しいピアスを制作しています。左右が同じ形のピアスにマーキスカットのペリドットとブルートパーズを、色だけが交互になるように石座を制作しロウ付けしました。中央には3mmのキュービックジルコニアを留めるための石座を制作し、ロウ付け。左右の形が同じに見えるようにロウ付けするのには苦労しました。残念ながら、授業内で完成させることが出来なかったので、続きは日本に帰ってからしたいと思います。

前回のブローチの続きです。ついに完成しました。彫りとすべての石が留め終わり、最終磨きを終えた後、ポンテヴェッキオにあるメッキ屋に持って行って、外枠に金メッキ、中央にロジウムメッキをしてもらいました。なるべくピッティ宮殿にあるオリジナルに近づけてみようと、石留も彫りも自分なりに工夫をしながら挑戦してみました。時間はかかりましたが、その分だけいい物が作れたのではないかと思っています。
