Today students are practicing a particular exercise, consisting in diagonal grooves around the gem. So far they have only craved squared grooves around the gem hole.
This is a sample used by students for practicing in class.
Students are engraving without following a draft.
Everyone is focusing on his/her work in silence.
This is a tool that makes the extremities round. Student works on the shape by hollowing the tips and pressing the extremities with this special tool.
