・Making medallions (decorazione) are cautiously done by hands. (Pictures left & center)
・Students perform shoe lasting (montaggio) on a shoetree (forma) when a provisional shoe (prova) is ready. (Picture right)
・穴飾(decorazione)りなどを行う際は慎重に手作業で行っていきます。(左、中)
・仮靴(prova)の準備が出来たら木型(forma)に載せて吊り込み(montaggio)を行います。(右)
・Leather is skived (assottigliare) for an overlapping (sotto messo) or folding-back parts (ripiegatura). (Picture left)
・Students fold back (ripiegatura) the shoe-opening part for a neater looking finish. (Picture center)
・This student is cutting out a leather for outsole (suola). (Picture right)
・重なる部分(sotto messo)や折り返し(ripiegatura)の際は革を薄く漉き(assottigliare)ます。(左)
・履き口部分を折り返し(ripiegatura)て見た目を綺麗に仕上げます。(中)
・本底(suola)に貼り付けるための底材を切り出します。(右)
・The part of the outside leather (tomaia) where a shoe lace (lacci) is applied is strengthened by adhering a thin leather. (Picture left)
・By adhering together each part, students make an outside leather (tomaia), followed by an inner leather (fodera). (Picture center)
・When making a design, students keep a little bit of distance from the shoe so they can see the whole view. (Picture right)
・外革(tomaia)の靴紐(lacci)を通す部分には補強の為に薄い革を貼り付けます。(左)
・各パーツを貼り合わせて外革(tomaia)を作り、同様の手順で内革(fodera)も作ります。(中)
・デザインをする際は少し離れて全体を見ながらおこないます。(右)

At Accademia Riaci, we are recruiting Course Reporters from our students. The students who are chosen to become Course Reporters are given 10 % of the tuition as their scholarship fee.
The Reporters who have submitted excellent reports will have his or her profile posted on our school website for the next 5 years as an alumnae and will be able to connect with their business chancesafter their graduation.
