Ceramics/Home Cooking/Glass Art – Summer Course (#2) – H.H.
I took part in the Art Visit.
アートビジットに参加しました。
Art Visit
On Friday, we had a special schedule: we headed to Piazza della Signoria for the Art Visit starting at 6:00 PM!
There were just three of us—Amanda from Miami, Kumiko from the gelato course, and me—so it was great that we could really listen to the explanations clearly. ✨
I missed the chance to take a group photo, though.

金曜日は変則で18時からアートビジットでシニョリーア広場へ！
マイアミから参加のアマンダとジェラートコースのくみこさん、私の3人の参加だったので説明もちゃんと聞けて良かったです✨
集合写真をとりそこねてしまいました。
Pottery Class
We were given various suggestions for pottery pieces and techniques, and we focused on making tiles with a distinctly Italian style.
There were lots of people coming and going in the studio—it was always filled with cheerful laughter—and the instruction was very kind and thorough.
陶芸の授業
陶芸の作品や、やり方を色々提案してもらい、イタリアらしいタイルを中心に作った。
工房に出入りする方は沢山いて、いつも明るい笑い声が絶えず、指導もとても優しく丁寧だった。
To the Supermarket
There’s a supermarket on the way back to the apartment, so I usually stop by to shop.
In particular, COOP—which Kanae, our interpreter, recommended—is spacious and clean, with a wide selection of goods; it’s one of my favorite places where I end up staying longer than intended.
The ham and other cold cuts are absolutely delicious, and I’m happy they’re cheaper than in Japan.
Even beers I don’t usually drink tasted great—I just picked them based on the labels
I generally cook my own meals for breakfast and dinner.
スーパーへ
フラットへの帰り道にはスーパーマーケットがあるので大体買い物。
とくに通訳のかなえさんに教えてもらったCOOPは広くてきれいで、品揃えも豊富でつい長居してしまうお気に入りの場所。
ハム類がとにかく美味しいし、日本より安いのが嬉しい。
普段飲まないビールも絵だけで選んでも美味しかった。
朝、夕は基本自炊です。

At Accademia Riaci, we are recruiting Course Reporters from our students. The students who are chosen to become Course Reporters are given 10 % of the tuition as their scholarship fee.
The Reporters who have submitted excellent reports will have his or her profile posted on our school website for the next 5 years as an alumnae and will be able to connect with their business chancesafter their graduation.
