Painting & Drawing Summer Course (#9) – J.K.
An oil painting of a Botticelli reproduction that is being painted in class. It is now in the finishing stage.
It was a very difficult painting, but the end is in sight.
授業で描いている、ボッティチェリの模写の油絵。仕上げの段階に入ってきました。
とても難しい絵でしたが、終わりが見えてきました。
We went sightseeing in Siena. Horse races, a special event during this season, were being held, and the piazza was decorated to look like a racetrack.
シエナ観光へ。この時期の特別行事、競馬が行われていて広場も競馬場仕様になっていました。
Sightseeing in Siena. We went to the Cathedral, which was recommended by our painting teachers. I was impressed by the wonderful inlay work. Once again, I realized the high level of Italian art.
シエナ観光。絵画の先生達にもオススメされた大聖堂へ。素晴らしい象嵌細工に感動。改めて、イタリア芸術のレベルの高さを実感しました。
Sightseeing in Siena. Ceiling decoration in the cathedral. I was impressed by the colors and patterns, which were slightly different from those of Florence.
シエナ観光。大聖堂内の天井の装飾。フィレンツェとはまた少し違う雰囲気の色彩、柄に感動しました。
Cultural Activity to Castiglioncello. It was a relaxing day with many locals and a very laid-back atmosphere.
Cultural ActivityでCastiglioncelloへ。地元の人が多く、とてものんびりとした雰囲気でリラックスできた1日となりました。
Castiglioncello’s sand forest. The sunlight shone through and it was very beautiful. The pine forest reminded me of Japan.
Castiglioncelloの防砂林。日差しが射し込みとてもキレイでした。松林はどこか日本も思い出すような雰囲気でした。
Since the museum was free on the first Sunday of the month, we went to the Bargello Museum. A large bottle used to hold wine. The colors unique to Italy were wonderful.
第一日曜日で博物館が無料だったので、バルジェッロ博物館へ。ワインを入れていた大きな瓶。イタリアならではの色彩が素敵でした。
Bardini Garden. There is not much greenery in Florence, so I was healed by the greenery in the garden. The breeze was cool and pleasant.
Bardini庭園へ。フィレンツェの街中は緑が少ないので、庭園の緑に癒されました。風も涼しくて気持ちよかったです。
Art visit to Piazzale Michelangelo.
The sunset on the way back was so beautiful that I spent a long time looking at it.
Art visitでミケランジェロ広場へ。
帰り道の夕焼けがとてもキレイでずっと長い間眺めていました。
