Painting & Drawing Summer Course (#5) – J.K.

The museum was free on a national holiday, so we went to Pitti Palace
祝日で美術館が無料だったので、ピッティ宮殿へ

The gorgeous decorations, paintings, and gardens were amazing.
豪華な装飾、絵画、庭園も素晴らしかったです。

Famous paintings that I have seen in textbooks. I was able to take a good look at them up close.
教科書でも見たことある、有名な絵画。間近でじっくりと見ることができました。

We hung out at the museum and went to the Accademia Gallery. Michelangelo’s David. I had seen replicas several times in Florence, but the real one was very powerful.
美術館を掛け持ちして、アカデミア美術館へ。ミケランジェロのダビデ像。レプリカはフィレンツェでも何回かみましたが、本物は迫力が違いました。

After school, we went to a nearby trattoria. The dish was rabbit meat. It was delicious while enjoying the atmosphere inside.
学校終わりに近くのトラットリアへ。うさぎのお肉の料理でした。中の雰囲気も味わいながら、美味しく頂きました。

We went to a famous affogato restaurant. There is usually a huge line of people waiting to get in. Espresso and vanilla are both delicious.
有名なアフォガートのお店へ。普段から行列がすごいお店です。エスプレッソもバニラも美味。

Fresco painting in progress. It is getting closer and closer to completion.
製作途中のフレスコ画。段々と完成が近づいてきました。

この1ヶ月でたまってきた作品達。どれも思い出深いものばかりです。
We went to Chianti for a cultural activity. We had a briefing on how grapes are grown and how wine is made, and finally tasted the wine. The wine was delicious with a refreshing and rich taste.
Cultural Activity でChiantiへ。葡萄の育て方、ワインの作り方などを説明してもらい、最後に試飲。さわやかかつ濃厚な味わいで美味しかったです。

At Accademia Riaci, we are recruiting Course Reporters from our students. The students who are chosen to become Course Reporters are given 10 % of the tuition as their scholarship fee.
The Reporters who have submitted excellent reports will have his or her profile posted on our school website for the next 5 years as an alumnae and will be able to connect with their business chancesafter their graduation.
