Painting & Drawing Summer Course (#2) – J.K.
Trying watercolor painting. After choosing a favorite subject and making a rough sketch, the artist layered colors over and over again.
The artist gradually applied darker and darker colors, and painted while being conscious of light and shadow.
水彩画にトライ。好きな題材を選んで下書きした後、色を何度も重ねていきます。
段々と濃い色をのせていき、光と影を意識しながら描いていきます。
Classroom scene. Surrounded by the wonderful works of past students, students take lessons.
The students receive good inspiration and motivation.
教室の様子。過去の生徒さん達の素敵な作品に囲まれながらレッスンを受けます。
良い刺激を受けつつ、モチベーションもアップ。
Art visit to Santa Maria Novella Church. The crucifix is said to be a historically important work of art, so we took our time and looked at it from corner to corner.
Art visitでサンタマリアノベッラ教会へ。歴史的にも重要な作品である十字架だそうで、ゆっくりと隅々まで鑑賞。
This is another fresco painting in Santa Maria Novella Church. Seeing it while listening to the explanation will deepen your understanding.

We had some free time, so we went to a church on a hill. The view of the beautiful Florence cityscape.
Not only the city, but also the sky and mountains were beautiful.
時間が空いたので高台の教会へ。美しいフィレンツェの街並みを一望。
街だけでなく、空や山並みもキレイでした。
We went to the famous Uffiches Museum. It was very impressive to see the masterpieces of the Renaissance period up close.
有名なウフィッチ美術館へ。ルネサンス時代の傑作を間近で見ることができ、感動的でした。
On Sundays, markets are held in many squares. Lovely shopkeepers and a variety of wooden crafts. I bought a wooden plate as a souvenir.
日曜日はあちこちの広場で市場が開かれています。素敵な店主の方と、木の工芸品の数々。お土産に木のプレートを購入しました。
Relaxing lunch on the terrace on a day off. The weather was pleasant and we enjoyed our lunch in the cool breeze.
休みの日にテラス席でのんびりとランチ。過ごしやすい気候で、涼しい風に吹かれながら楽しいランチでした。
Eating out is expensive, so basically I mainly cook for myself. When I went to the supermarket, I found a lot of fresh vegetables. There were eggplants and bell peppers the size of your face, which are not available in Japan.
外食は高めなので基本的に自炊メインで。スーパーに行くと新鮮な野菜がたくさん。日本にはない、顔の大きさほどのさナスやパプリカも。

At Accademia Riaci, we are recruiting Course Reporters from our students. The students who are chosen to become Course Reporters are given 10 % of the tuition as their scholarship fee.
