Graphic Design Short Course (#14) – Tomomi W
We were briefed on the different types of paper. For example, Turner paper is rough like tangerine peel and has a canvas-like feel; Mohawk Superfine is suitable for business cards, and its ivory color is more luxurious than white.See : www.pixartprinting.it
用紙の種類について説明を受けました。例えばターナー紙はみかんの皮のようにザラザラで、キャンバスのような手触りです。
Mohawk Superfineは名刺向きで、白よりもアイボリー色の方が高級感が出ます。

I am actually checking the feel of various papers. I feel that working in a printing shop would be interesting to learn. I heard that beer labels are more durable than wine labels, but not as luxurious, so the paper is cheaper.実際に様々な用紙の手触りを確認しています。印刷所で働くのも勉強になって面白そうだなと感じます。ビールラベルの方がワインラベルよりも耐久性が高く、しかし高級感は無くていいので紙が安いそうです。
When printing on flags, etc., there are fine holes in the cloth to allow the wind to blow through.旗などに印刷するときは、風が吹き抜けるように布に細かな穴が開いています
I was lent a book about the history of graphic design. I kind of like Toulouse-Lautrec.グラフィックデザインの歴史についての本を貸してもらいました。私はトゥールーズ＝ロートレックがなんとなく好きです。

Today is the end of the graphic design class that I have enjoyed so much. Through the class, I feel that the range of what I can do in design has expanded more than I had ever thought possible.Thank you very much, Mr. Giovanni.
