Interior Design vol.6 – One Year 2018 (r.s)

Image #1: This week, we have been to the church of Santa Spirito across the River Arno. This church was used to be a hospital and the place which allowed artists to study anatomy (human bodies). So many artists like Leonardo Da Vinci, Donatello, Brunelleschi studied anatomy by seeing dead bodies in this place. Inside of this church, it is not allowed to take any photo but it is very quiet, peaceful and beautiful. I think this church is one of my favorites in Firenze.

Image #2: This is the River Arno. There are several bridges across the river. One of brides has stores for goldsmiths, which is also tourists spot. Over the bridge, it’s kind of local area. There are nice and cheaper cafes and restaurants.

Image# 3: This building was kind of rare because there is fresco painting on the exterior wall. But also, there was one of Medici Family living in the apartment, and he fell in love with a royalty. So, he made a tunnel in this building, which was connected in the castle. The royalty used the tunnel and meet with him.

Image #4: This is a handmade shoe store in front of the church of Santa Spirito. I have never seen a professional actually making a shoe. That was good and fun experience to stop by.
