4月からシェフ養成コース2ヶ月に、マンマの家庭料理とジェラートが合わさった計3ヶ月のコースを受講しています。日本人は、20代の参加者が多いですが、９人中女性は3人、みなイタリア料理への愛情は同じ。楽しく仲良く生活がスタートしています。
漠然ではありますが、近い未来に、自分なりの方法で、自分で作る手作りの発酵調味料（味噌、塩麹、甘酒、醤油麹他）や、生米成形パン，好きな料理を組み合わせ、美味しく健康的な食の提供、発信ができたらいいなと考えるようになりました。今回のイタリアへの料理留学を機に、そこから新しい世界が見えてくると思い参加を決意しました。

I couldn't forget the trip to Italy that I did when I was a student, so I decided to take advantage of my retirement to study abroad for a short period of time. The first time I came to Italy was when the currency was still the lira. I didn't like tomatoes or cheese, so I used to complain that I didn't have anything to eat, but as I visited many times, including to watch soccer games, I started eating them. This time, while my mind and body are still healthy, I decided to study abroad to learn more about the Italian way of life and food culture that I could not get by traveling, and am taking on my last big adventure in my 60s.

I have been taking the Gelato course for 3 weeks. I majored in Italian at university.
An interpreter will be present during the first week of lessons, but will not be present during the remaining weeks or when interacting with the teacher after the lesson. Not only was I able to learn new things about Gelato, but I also felt that what I had learned at university so far was put to good use, and these days I am living a very fulfilling Firenze life.

Hello, this is Makoto. I came to Florence to learn about gelato. Until recently, I was undergoing anticancer drug treatment for cancer. Gelato supported me during that treatment. I wanted to learn how to make gelato in the real world, so I convinced my doctor to come to Italy three months after I was discharged from the hospital. Like I did, I would like to someday make gelato that can be part of someone's daily life, or can be eaten by people who are sick and have difficulty eating, or who are terminally ill and cannot eat solid food.
こんにちは、Makoto S です。ジェラートについて学ぶためにフィレンツェに来ました。私はつい最近までがんの治療で抗がん剤治療をしていました。その治療中、私を支えてくれたのがジェラートでした。そんなジェラートを本場で学びたいなと思い、退院3ヶ月で主治医に無理言ってイタリアに来ました。私がそうだったように、いつか、誰かの日常の一部であったり、病気で食事が辛い人、終末期で固形物食べられない人が食べられるようなジェラートを作りたいなと思っています。

In Japan, there are more negative opinions about tattoos than in other countries, and there are not many people who get tattoos due to the strict restrictions on tattooing and the price.
However, when I visited Italy this summer and saw many people, including tourists, with tattoos on their skin, I was very excited and at the same time felt that people were as fascinated by tattoos as much as I was. I was happy to know that

🇬🇧 Hello, this is Chikako. I am 25 years old from Japan. What made me decide to take this interior design course? It all started when I left the company last year. Originally, when I was 18, I went to an interior design vocational school for three years. I got a job at a jewelry company and had a gap of 2-3 years at my previous job. I was looking for a school where I could study abroad because I wanted to learn how to use colors and how to use interiors in a culture that is completely different from Japan. Then I found the Accademia Riaci website, saved up a year, and took a summer course. For a few weeks, I want to find a different perspective in Italy, the city of art.

My name is Daniel Trembovelski, I am a 23-year-old French and Russian student in jewellery. I am currently following the 1-year Master course in jewellery making at the Accademia Riaci after graduating from a bachelor in Jewellery and Silversmithing at the Birmingham School of Jewellery in the UK.
I decided to follow this course with the aim to gain more practice and confidence in my work before getting to work in the industry. I was also motivated to learn the “Incisione” techniques in addition to the different possible stone settings and therefore reach a new level in my jewellery creations. My long-term ambition is to gain enough various experience in jewellery all around the world and open my own brand and create my collections once ready!
Outside of school, I like to read, visit exhibitions, work out and go out for walks and hikes in the countryside of Italy, Florence being the perfect place for that kind of extracurricular activities!

My name is Pamela Bähre-Ebensperger, I’m the offspring of German/Austrian immigrants to Chile, South America.
I first started learning silversmith and goldsmith back in 2008, and since then, I haven’t stopped!!
I was a model since I was 14 (back in 1996) and then my career took an international path in 2001. Because of that, I was fortunate enough to live in many countries across the planet, impregnating my soul not only with original beauty but also with unique beliefs, habits, way of living, and all that could come in between….
I quit modeling when I was 30 years old (7 years ago) and it took me some time to let go of my “attachment” to my “babies” (a.k.a my jewelry), once I did (Thank Heaven!!!) I decided my contribution to this world will be one of beauty, power, and inspiration. Gemstones and metals not only tore energy, they transmit, transmute, enhance and even nullify it, therefore, but every piece of jewelry is also unique. It represents a state of Consciousness/ Being of the bearer, and as such, they serve either as Amulets or Talismans.
This is the intention behind/ beside/ above and below my creations.
In the Spirit of humility I can’t really say much about myself, if there’s an opinion or judgment to be formed about me, it is my preference you do it yourself. The one thing I can say though, I that nothing makes me happier than life itself and that to be of service to all Beings and, especially, to the Greater Good, beats anything!!!!!!

イタリアの祭壇画で使用されている黄金背景テンペラを学ぶためにフィレンツェに来ました。フィレンツェは街自体が美術館で、またルネッサンス発祥の地でもあるため、学ぶべき、見るべきオリジナルの作品がすぐ近くにあるので本当に素晴らしいです。こちらに来て4ヶ月目になりますが、たくさんの美術館や教会に行きました。またフィレンツェはイタリアの中央に位置しているため、違う都市へのアクセスもよく、すでにヴェネチア、シエナ、ルッカなど様々な都市に美術品を見に行きました。フェレンツェは職人の街で、古くからの手仕事を大切にしている所が大好きです。
日本ではアニミズムをテーマに作品を描いており、今回学ぶ技法を自分の作品に生かしたいと思っています。

I recently graduated Diploma in Interior Design from The One Academy Sunway. For the past three years, I’ve sparked my design interest to next level. I’ve been also adept at multiple design software such as Autodesk AutoCAD, 3D-modeling, Visualization, Animation, Adobe Photoshop, Power Point, and hand-sketches. I am a member of Malaysia Institute of Interior Designers (MIID). Besides that, I’ve done the freelance about the 3d-modeling, residential design and construction drawing during my life in college. I also completed my internship during May to August 2017. This experience made me learn the communication skill and understand what the design industry needs. I hope I can get some useful knowledge and experience in Accademia Riaci.

高校を卒業後、語学と美術を学ぶ為にイタリアへ来ました。初めの半年間はシエナの語学専門学校に通いながらグラフィックデザインを学べる学校を探し、一度帰国をした後にアカデミアリアチへの入学を決めました。今までは絵画を中心に制作活動をしていたので、ルネッサンス期の芸術作品が溢れるフィレンツェでの生活はとても勉強になります。これまで培ってきた経験を生かし、今回は新たにグラフィックデザインについて学びを深めていきたいです。
I came to Italy right after I graduated from high school to study Italian language and art. I spent my first 6 months in Siena to study at an Italian language school. While I was there, I looked for a good school for graphic design. I went back to Japan once and decided to enroll Accademia Riaci. Because my main art field had always been painting & drawing, I have been learning a lot from the life in Florence surrounded by full of artworks from the Renaissance era. I look forward to learn further more about graphic design based on my past experience.

During her studies, she followed an internship at a company where she was taught how to make and design handbags out of leather and exotic leather skins.
She knew instantly that she would love to study further and learn more about shoes and decided to come to Firenze, Italy, the most famous city to learn more of leather art and shoes! She found Accademia Riaci and knew that the shoe making course that they had to offer was exactly was she was looking for.
Here she wishes to learn the highest level of shoe making techniques and to be able to follow her dream to become a designer with the knowledge of not only fashion, but also the art of shoe and handbag design.

日本では１０年間ほど靴づくりとは関係のないお仕事をしていましたが、趣味としてずっと好きで続けていたのが革細工でした。休日には財布など小物をコツコツ作る毎日でした。そしてそこから派生して、この２年間は神戸にある靴学校に毎週通いました。自分が考えたものが形になっていくことが面白くて、休日は疲れていても靴作りが楽しくて仕方がありませんでした。とても時間がかかる作業ですが、出来上がりだけでなく、出来上がっていく様子がなんとも言えません。
一年ほど前から、思い切ってお仕事を辞め、本場イタリア・フィレンツェに革靴づくりを学びに行くことを決めました。今年の５月より４ヶ月間、語学学校でお世話になりイタリア語で何とか授業を受け始めました。まだまだ分からない事だらけですが、楽しみながら頑張りたいと思っています。
I worked in Japan for about 10 years but my former job had nothing to do with shoe making. I simply liked leather working as a hobby. I used to make small items such as leather wallets on my days off. For this past 2 years, I studied every week at a shoe making school in Kobe, Japan. I totally enjoyed the process of how my idea became actual shoes, so I kept making shoes on weekends even though I was tired from my weekday’s work. It takes a long time to make 1 pair of shoes, but I just love the shoe making process itself.
I quit my job 1 year ago and decided to come to Florence to study shoe making. I took Italian lessons for 4 months from this May, and I am now taking shoe making lessons in Italian. There is so much I need to learn now, but I hope to enjoy this learning experience.

After briefly studying Fashion Design at the Arts Institute in Miami, Christine came to Florence to study shoe design/making which was her real passion.
At Accademia Riaci, she began her Shoe Design course with Professor Andrea Roth, a one-time designer for the Ferragamo shoe brand. In the design course, Christine was taught all of the design elements for creating beautiful footwear. She also learned how to balance creativity with technical skills.
