Painting Drawing vol.6 (One-year 2019 – Kristin)
I decided my next subject would be another classic: Michelangelo’s Brutus. Same concept: classic materials (sepia and water wash) with a modern approach. Pictured above is a reference photo and some progress pictures.
Finally, I added the patches of color. It brightened the piece extensively. These portraits were a great refresher for mechanics, proportions, achieving likeness, and self expression. Currently I am working on a larger piece (150cm x 150cm) to advance these skills and add to the collection. Unfortunately I lost photos of it when my phone was stolen last month, along with a lot of the progress pictures.

At Accademia Riaci, we are recruiting Course Reporters from our students. The students who are chosen to become Course Reporters are given 10 % of the tuition as their scholarship fee.
The Reporters who have submitted excellent reports will have his or her profile posted on our school website for the next 5 years as an alumnae and will be able to connect with their business chancesafter their graduation.
