Painting & Drawing Summer Course (#3) – J.K.
I started working on a colored pencil drawing last week. We chose a photo to use as a model and started layering colors on top of each other. The teacher is always available to help me with any difficult parts, and the drawing is gradually taking shape.
先週から色鉛筆画に取り掛かりました。モデルにする写真を選んで色を重ねていきます。難しい所は先生にすぐ相談でき、徐々に形になっていきます
There is a stylish cafe right across the street from the school, where we took a break between classes to have a cafe latte. The cake with rice in it was delicious.
学校のすぐ向かいにオシャレなカフェがあって、そこでカフェラテを飲んで授業の合間にひと休憩。お米が入ったケーキも美味しく頂きました。
Lunch at the central market just a short walk away. It is always crowded with many people. The meat was very hearty.
歩いてすぐの中央市場でランチ。いつも大勢の人でき賑わっています。このお肉の豪快さ。
color pencil drawing was completed. The more time it took, the more I put into it. The final touch by the instructor made it look much more complete.
色鉛筆画が完成。時間がかかった分、思い入れのある絵に。最後に先生の仕上げが入るとグッと完成度があがりました。
I went to a bento shop run by Japanese people who taught me how to make bento. The longer I stay in Japan, the more I miss Japanese food. I was able to recharge my energy by eating delicious Japanese food.
教えてもらった日本人の方達が経営するお弁当屋さんへ。滞在が長くなると日本食が恋しくなります。美味しい日本食を食べてエネルギーチャージができました。
Old and valuable things can be found here and there in the city. This is a gate from the 13th century. It was a beautiful day and the sky was very beautiful.
街中には古く貴重なものがさりげなく、あちこちに。こちらは13世紀頃の門。いい天気で空もとてもキレイでした。
Fresco painting in Piazza della Signoria. It is painted with a technique that we also learn in class. I realized that we are really blessed to be able to see the real thing right away.
シニョリーア広場にあるフレスコ画。授業でも習っている技法で描かれています。本物をすぐ見れる環境は本当に恵まれているなと実感しました。
On weekends, we went to the opera. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the theater and was impressed by the high level of quality.
週末はオペラ鑑賞。劇場の雰囲気なども楽しみながら、レベルの高さに感動しました。
Cultural Activity to Lucca. It is the birthplace of Puccini and a beautiful place surrounded by city walls.

At Accademia Riaci, we are recruiting Course Reporters from our students. The students who are chosen to become Course Reporters are given 10 % of the tuition as their scholarship fee.
The Reporters who have submitted excellent reports will have his or her profile posted on our school website for the next 5 years as an alumnae and will be able to connect with their business chancesafter their graduation.
