Today I started work with another sculpture which had a more emotive face. Working with sanguine and sepia conte and water I practiced several quick portraits in different angles on brown paper. Professor Alessandro guided me with technique along with the translator.

Continuing with my work on the second day I have a few challenges. The continuous guidance and critique help me focus on my problem areas with nuances which I have seldom attempted in detailed precision. Patience and continuing with my work help me understand the process further.

Wednesday: Today I visit Ponte Vecchio and the Pitti palace area and wander around the city with a tour guide for the day. Florence’s historical past, Medici family and their contributions towards making the historic landmarks of the city are very interesting.

It’s a day to explore the various tourist options. Already looking forward to the 3rd Week !
