Jewelry making vol.15 – Atelier One Year 2018 (a.m)
Pic1-3 1か月間の冬のお休みが終わり、今年初めての授業がありました。久しぶりの制作がとても楽しかったです。制作自体は昨年の続きになります。ハートのペンダントトップに合う金具づくりから始まりました。細長い板状の銀から切り出していきます。好きな大きさに曲げ、切断面が合うように切り、溶接していきます。工程自体は簡単なのですが、簡単だからこそ難しいです。

Pic4 できた金具とペンダントトップです。大体このくらいのサイズ感です。いい感じに可愛くなりそうでわくわくしています。
Pic5-6 作った金具を一度切り、ペンダントトップにつけてから再度溶接し直します。一通りの溶接作業が終われば一度白く洗浄し、磨いていきます。Pic6は磨き終わったものです。これから石留めをしますがそれはまた違う先生に教わることになっているので、これは今回ここまでになります。

Pic7 ペンダントトップの制作が一区切りついたので、もう一つ昨年にしていた指輪の制作に戻りました。Incisioneの授業で丸みを帯びた指輪に鎖状の下書きを掘ったのですが、今回はその一つ一つに穴をあけます。この写真は穴をあけるためのドリルで、先端が丸い方で穴をあける場所に凹みをつくり、ドリル状の方で本格的に穴をあけました。
Pic8-9 穴をあけ終わった写真です。少しわかりにくいですが、ひし形に鎖が並んでいます。この後、穴の一つ一つを整えてより鎖状にしていったのですが、写真を撮り忘れていたので、次のレポートに乗せようと思います。

At Accademia Riaci, we are recruiting Course Reporters from our students. The students who are chosen to become Course Reporters are given 10 % of the tuition as their scholarship fee.
The Reporters who have submitted excellent reports will have his or her profile posted on our school website for the next 5 years as an alumnae and will be able to connect with their business chancesafter their graduation.
