I went to the National Museum of Bargello, which was recommended to me during my art visit last week. The building itself is a typical medieval architecture, which is enough to satisfy me, but I was reminded of the difference in expression between Michelangelo’s David in the Accademia Gallery and Donatello’s David here.

先週のアートヴィジットの時に薦めてもらった、バルジェッロ国立博物館へ。建物自体が典型的中世建築で、それだけで充分満足だが、アカデミア美術館にあるミケランジェロのダビデ像とここにあるドナテッロのダビデ像、表現力の違いに思いを馳せる。

Today, a national holiday, I was able to visit “Cinque Terre” with friends.
It is the collective name for five fishing villages, registered as a World Heritage site, facing the Ligurian Sea, a little far from Florence and close to Genoa. La Spezia, which we arrived by train, is an exotic town, quite different from Tuscany (laugh), and from there we took a bus to the port and boarded a boat. What a wonderful view from the sea!

祝日の今日は友人たちと『チンクエテッレ』に行くことができた。
フィレンツェからはやや遠くジェノバに近いリグリア海に面する世界遺産に登録されている、5つの漁村の総称だ。列車で着いたラ・スペツィアはトスカーナとは全然違い異国情緒たっぷりの街で（笑）、そこからバスで港まで行き船に乗る。海から見る絶景は何と素晴らしいことか。

I had a dinner party with friends.
The two months of the summer course will be over in a few days, but we had a wonderful time chatting over good food and wine. We had a wonderful time.

友人達と食事会をした。
サマーコースの二ヶ月もあと数日で終わりになるが、美味しいお料理と、ワインを頂きながらのおしゃべり、、、。素敵な時間を過ごす事ができた。

As the date of my return is approaching, I have started to pack my belongings, but they are too heavy for me, so I decided to send the spring and early summer clothes and books that I had worn at first. Even so, walking along the cobblestone pavement to the store in this heat wave (36 to 7 degrees Celsius) with a castor on my back was exhausting!
The temperature is said to rise to nearly 40°C from next week, and I noticed that my arms and neck have become quite sunburned in the past month or so.

帰国する日も近くなり荷造りを始めているのだがどう考えても重量オーバー、当初着ていた春から初夏ものの衣類と本などを送る事にした。それにしてもこの猛暑の中（36〜7℃）キャスターをゴロゴロひいて店に向かう石畳を歩くのはヘトヘト！
来週からは40℃近くにも上がるらしいが、気が付いたらここ1ヶ月くらいで腕、首元は結構日焼けしているではないか。

Last home cooking class. It has been a really fun time each day, and I am sad to think that the two months together with jewelry making are coming to an end.
For the past week, each of us has been taught a dish we requested, and today we made fresh pasta with lemon pasta (tagliolini lemone), oven baked Thai with potatoes and tomatoes as garnish, and my request for liver pate (figatini) It was very, very good! It was very, very good.

And my favorite last art visit was the “Orsan Michele Museum”
It was a beautiful space.

最後のホームクッキングの授業。本当に毎日楽しい時間で、ジュエリーメイキングと合わせての2ヶ月が終わってしまうのだと思うとさみしい。
ここ1週間は各自がリクエストした料理を教えてもらったりしていたが、今日はレモンパスタ（タリオリーニ　レモーネ）で、フレッシュパスタを作り、タイのオーブン焼きと付け合わせのジャガイモとトマト、そして私のリクエストのレバーパテ（フィガティーニ） とてもとてもおいしかった。

そして、お気に入りの最後のアートビジットは『オルサンミケーレ　ミュージアム』
素敵な空間だった。

Florence/Pelletola 6:05 a.m. to the airport at 4:05 a.m. Booked a cab to the airport
And Narita via Zurich Returned to Japan at 9 a.m. Japan time without any problem.
It was quite a thrilling start, but my two months of summer school came to a successful end thanks to you.

そしてチューリッヒ経由で成田　　帰りは問題もなく日本時間朝9時帰国。
来るときはトラブルで飛行機がキャンセルになり、チューリッヒ1泊というなかなかスリリングなスタートだったが、私のサマースクール2ヶ月はおかげさまで無事終わりを迎えることが出来た。
