I studied bag making in Florence, Italy, taking a two-week summer course.

In the bag-making class, we carefully cut the leather and assembled each piece one by one.
Each time we repeated this meticulous work, the moment the shape began to take form brought a real sense of accomplishment.
I will treasure the finished bag as my one-of-a-kind favorite.

During my study abroad in Florence, meals were also a major highlight.
Whether eating Florence’s famous bistecca alla fiorentina, buying ingredients at the supermarket to cook at home, or dining out with friends,
everyday moments felt fresh and provided a refreshing break between lessons.

On days without classes, I visited Rome, Italy’s capital!
I thoroughly enjoyed sightseeing in Rome, taking in the massive Colosseum, Vatican City, and the banks of the Tiber River.

サマーコースで2週間、バッグメイキングを学びにイタリア・フィレンツェに留学しました。

バッグメイキングの授業では、革を丁寧にカットし、ひとつずつパーツを組み合わせていきました。
地道な作業を重ねるたびに形が見えてくる瞬間は、達成感があります。
完成したバッグは、世界に一つだけの“お気に入り”として大切に使います。

フィレンツェでの留学生活では、食事も大きな楽しみの一つでした。
フィレンツェ名物ビステカッカ・アッラ・フィオレンティーナを食べたり、スーパーで食材を買って自炊したり、友人と外食したりと 日常のひとつひとつが新鮮で、学びの合間のリフレッシュになりました。

授業のない日にイタリアの首都ローマへ！
巨大なコロッセオ、バチカン市国、テベレ川沿いと、ローマ観光を満喫することができました。
