Buongiorno a tutti!

As you might already know Florence is famous for the handcraft and for its jewelry works, following the tradition that the “orafi fiorentini” give to hundreds of years.
When one speaks of artistic craftsmanship, one speaks of Florence, of talent and great dexterity, of genius, of outstanding creativity and last, but not least, of technique: all indispensable elements for creating a work of art, a unique piece of jewelry.
Many visitors are interested in gold or silver jewelry sold on the Old Bridge (“Ponte Vecchio”) in its small stores.
Here you can find lovely hand-made gold jewelry in modern but also Florentine renaissance styles.

Using only the skills of his hands and a few simple tools (various types of chisels and a few other “irons”) the artisan can bestow upon the metal of any piece of jewelery the effect of velvet, silk or damask, or decorate it to create the effect of lace, or frame it with borders, or give it an infinity of floral motifs in order to create a distinctive and unique piece: this is the “Incisione”, just one of the Florentine jewelry techniques.
So, if you want to breathe this atmosphere, let’s join our jewelry courses in the wonderful Florence!
