Painting-Drawing 19-Master Course 2017 (Student1)

On my spring vacation I spend for a few days Arezzo. Arezzo is one of the wealthiest cities in Tuscany. The ancient city of Arezzo, with its Roman ruins, medieval walls, Renaissance architecture and incomparable Piero della Francesca mural has always been a magnet for art lovers.

I was lucky to visit in Arezzo cathedral which is most attractive place located in city The Arezzo. This magnificent religious structure can be found in the northern part of the historic town center.
The facade was designed by Dante Viviani and was built using sandstone. It features traditional three pronged style with the central rose window and five ornate statues above the door way.
Inside the cathedral the decoration and artwork are simply stunning the ceiling in particular is covered with a colorful fresco and there are also reliefs created by the renowned architect Donatello.
The centerpiece of the church however is undoubtedly the Arch of St. Donatus. This impressive memorial has a huge amount of detail and hold the remains of the Martyred saint.
Let’s take a break at a park or a bar the photo was taken in the on-the-hill-park (passeggio del prato) behind the duomo.

The Antique Market in Arezzo is considered as one of the best antique fairs in Tuscany and it was the first market of is kind to be established in Italy in 1968.
Entrance of the old Town, 5 minutes by walk from the station. They made a long queue from the entrance of the town already, it was very exciting.
