From 22th to 27th May 2012 will host the second edition of the Florence Design Week - Design Village 2012, under the High Patronage of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture, organized in partnership with the London Design Festival and in collaboration with the Municipality of Florence , Province of Florence, Calenzano.
An international contemporary showcase to enhance and preserve the historical and cultural heritage of the city 'with exhibitions unique in its kind :
EMOTIONAL DESIGN FOR DRESSING FLORENCE.
Our school is open to the public during "FLORENCE DESIGN WEEK".
You are free to visit the various courses, and especially on 26th and 27th May organizes "Buffet" with international cuisine, Italian and Japanese with our students who study in our courses of “Professional kitchen”.
Art students show the works they have made during the lessons.
On 26th and 27th May during a course open to the public, there will be the possibility to produce a leather bag. (from 11:00 to 17:00) * 20euro for the material.
So, we organized many enjoying events !
* One part of the sale of items of our Show, will be for "Donations for persons affected by the Great Earthquake of Japan".

Good news for those who are interested in manual arts.
The Academy Riaci, with the occasion of "Florence Design Week, " offering the course of leather work, and "Origami" (Japanese games).
The Academy offers the opportunity to attend a short induction course of a day or two days at a cost of from 10 to 30 euro as reimbursement of expenses, during which participants will learn the basics of the various stages of processing up to a small object as a result of the course to keep as a souvenir and use daily.

*Playing "Origami" with Japanese language (2 hours /Free!)
The 'origami' is ancient art of Japanese paper folding, which means, you learn the instructions and tips for power, making only folding the paper about 15 cm square, various types of animals, objects and flowers. The art of origami does not allow the use of scissors or glue to create models. This exercise with your fingers, it helps so much to develop the brain. The academy is offering the course free of origami with the base of Japanese language! So, you can lean the Origami and Japanese language!
