Accademia Riaci is an Academy of Art
and Design in the
heart of Florence,
Italy - Europe's eternal capital of the Renaissance - founded
in 1983 by our Honorary President and Italy's leading jewelry
artisan & sculptor,
Maestro Raymond
Riachi.
The Maestro's
mission was to
enlighten young
artists with a
blend of classical
and the latest
ultra modern techniques,
challenging each
student to fully
develop their artistic
potential, creativity,
and originality.
The teaching style
of the Academy
is unique: Just
like how Da Vinci
and his assistants
learned from each
other during the
Renaissance, the
student-teacher
ratio is kept small
to maintain the
school's policy
that values each
students' originality
and learning styles.
Tailored, hands-on
instruction and
extensive career
development, along
with training for
effective presentation
skills are also
provided in order
to develop each
learning artist
as a whole.
As a result, today,
the Maestro's passionate
mission passed
on to the faculty
has lit up students
representing over
15 countries world
wide, in more than
12 artistic fields
and coming from
various backgrounds,
offering professional
master courses,
2-year Basic Courses,
One-Year Courses,
Internship programs,
to monthly, sesemstral,
seasonal, and short
summer programs
taught by some
of the best Italian
artists in 3 different
languages*.
