This lesson is centered on self-portrait.
Prof. Andi stresses in particular the skin color; first create the neutral tones, then darken it for the parts in the shadow, or brighten it for the parts where the light shines on.
Students portrait themselves by looking at their own photos, or looking at themselves in the mirror.
Prof. Andi has praised this student because she has observed herself attentively while drawing.
Here, the teacher advises the student to observe more her own eye color.
