Overview

Florence has more than 500-year tradition in Furniture Making and Restoration. Artisans have worked to keep their skills and knowledge and pass on them from the master to the followers. Our classes are held in a professional laboratory in the center of Florence, where class sizes are limited to 3~4 students. This program opens for no prior knowledge and experience. Students may combine labor and academic studies to achieve their individual educational and career objectives.

Overview

The Furniture Master Course provides students with a year working in a professional atelier in Florence, Italy. For a long time, artists, craftsmen, and artisans have lived in Florence, Italy and have made their original work in specific and traditional Italian organizations. They have worked to keep their skills and knowledge and pass on them from the master to the followers. Apprentices work in small groups with other participants and teams of professionals to gain hands-on experience in real-world environments.
